Three Must Visit Places in Jamaica

Visit Jamaica

Jamaica is a must visit destination for travelers, offering breathtaking beaches and waterfalls, incredible cuisine, and rich culture. It is a popular Caribbean island escape and for good reason! It is easy to get to with various airports and tourist transfers are available across the island. From the stunning beaches, incredible adventure and waterfalls, snorkeling and boating, to the delicious cuisine (jerk chicken and more!) you will be blown away by all this island country has to offer!

where to visit Jamaica

The great part about Jamaica is it is packed with incredible accommodations around the island. It is full of all inclusive resorts but there are several more budget friendly accommodations as well. Some of the top tourist places to stay include Negril, Montego Bay, and Ocho Rios but you will find incredible places to stay all along the coast between these locations. If you are looking for more waterfalls and adventure Ocho Rios is for you, if you are looking more for white sandy beaches head to Negril. If you want a central location, near the airport and easy to do day tours from Montego Bay is ideal.

My must visit experience

I traveled to Jamaica with my friend in 2025! It was a perfect first vacation without the baby. We were able to really relax at the pool and beach taking advantage of our resorts while doing amazing excursions. Highlights of the trip included the day tour to Ocho Rios where we got to jump from waterfalls at Secret Falls and Blue Hole and climb the famous Dunn’s River Falls. Another highlight was a catamaran cruise in Negril where we got to snorkel, swim in caves and visit the iconic Rick’s Cafe for some cliff jumping. Check out my full one week itinerary HERE! Other top destinations I cannot wait to check out include YS Falls, Appleton Estate Distillery, snorkeling the bioluminescent bay, bamboo rafting on the Martha Brae River and so much more. If visiting don’t forget to fill out your Electronic C5 Customs and Immigration form which is required for most international visitors- fill out the form HERE. Trust me and put Jamaica to the top of your Caribbean travel bucket list- you won’t regret it!
