It is unique in that it has its own separate governing and economic systems from mainland China. Its official languages are Chinese and English. Victoria Peak named after Queen Victoria is a park on Hong Kong Island that offers sweeping views of the Hong Kong Skyline below. The public park has ample area to picnic and play. Tsim Sha Tsui East Promenade
This is the Avenue of Stars walk of Hong Kong and not only is it beautiful with views of the city but also adorned with statues and stars of the famous stars of the country. Along the way you can also see the clock tower, Hong Kong Cultural Center and Space Museum.
Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery
This monastery was completed in 1957 and is lined with golden buddhas with various facial expressions as you climb the stairs up to the top. The pagoda and temple at the top are also wonderful to explore.

Nan Lian Garden
This classical Chinese Garden is in Diamond Hill. It is designed with Tang Dynasty style features including trees, rocks, wooden structures. It opened in 2006. It is a beautiful and tranquil place to explore.
