Caladesi Island is a State Park that boasts incredible beaches, tons of shells and nature trails. You must take a ferry to and from the island which is amazing in itself. The park also offers kayak rentals, ranger-guided tours and a small snack bar. It is a peaceful and gorgeous getaway for the day!
Walk the Tampa Riverwalk
The Tampa Riverwalk is a 2.6 miles walk along the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa. It is great for walking, jogging, biking and taking in the views of the city and water.

There are educational exhibits and natural trails as well. There is a snack bar. They also have a turtle rescue portion. It is a great day for children and adults alike!

This State Park is located in St. Petersburg, Florida. It has a historic fort dating back to the Spanish-American War. There is plenty of hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming and camping available. The beaches are beautiful.

Check out some waterfront Bars
Tampa has some incredible waterfront bar and dining options. I went to two very awesome causal waterfront bars/restaurants that were awesome! One was the Getaway and the other was Salt Shack on the Bay! Took in an incredible sunset the Salt Shack!
