Uganda is a country in East Africa. It is landlocked and surrounded by Kenya, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, and Tanzania. The southern part of the country includes Lake Victoria which is shared with Tanzania and Kenya. The equator crosses through Uganda. The capital and largest city is Kampala. The official languages are English and Swahili.
